Job Description

Overview:

We manufacture high-performance textiles, vests, and gear designed to protect and enhance the capabilities of those operating in the most demanding environments—industrial safety teams, law enforcement, and military units. As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll be part of a small, high-output production team where every shift counts. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, real impact, and real opportunity.

You’ll work with specialized tools and equipment like laser cutters, welders, and sewing machines to produce technical components with precision and consistency. The work is focused and thoughtful, but not overwhelming. You’ll be trusted to own your station, solve problems, and help streamline how we do things. We’re lean by design, and that means the right people get autonomy, visibility, and a direct role in how the shop grows.

If you do great work, you’ll be rewarded. In addition to competitive base pay, all full-time team members are eligible for a company-wide bonus plan that can nearly double your annual earnings when the company grows. We’re scaling quickly, and we want people who are hungry to grow with us.

The strongest fits for this role are mechanically inclined problem-solvers—CNC machinists, HVAC techs, auto mechanics, production operators, tinkerers, and hands-on builders who take pride in their work and thrive in small, fast-moving environments. If you’re the kind of person who likes fixing things, learning new tools, and being part of a team that wins—you’ll fit right in.

  • Quality Control & Inspection – Perform visual inspections, measurements, and refinishing tasks on incoming and in-house parts to meet strict quality standards.

  • Inventory Management & Documentation – Receive, track, organize, and store inventory with meticulous records and clear labeling to ensure availability, traceability, and production readiness.

  • Production Improvement & Troubleshooting – Identify and resolve inefficiencies in kitting, tooling, or build flow with practical, well-documented solutions that enhance repeatability, throughput, and quality.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Communicate clearly with sales, design, and ops teams to align on production timelines, product specs, and feedback loops.

Qualifications

  • Experience – 3+ years in manufacturing, fabrication, or technical production; apprenticeships available for mechanically inclined entry-level candidates.

  • Mechanical Aptitude – Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, or robotics

  • Precision & Consistency – Performs repetitive tasks with tight tolerances and minimal variation.

  • Tools & Equipment – Familiar with laser cutters, RF welders, sewing machines, power tools, and gauges (training provided).

  • Problem Solving – Fast learner with strong critical thinking and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
