Front Desk - Customer Service

Schedule:  7am to 4pm Wed - Sun OR 7am to 4pm Sun - Thurs

Pay  Rate: $18/Hour
 

Job Description:
This is not your typical front desk job. You’ll be the first point of contact for many families and veterinary clinics, but also the person who walks families through keepsake choices and premium service offerings. This role combines compassionate care with consultative sales, ensuring every family feels seen while also helping them select aftercare items that bring comfort and meaning.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Guidance

• Guide families through their memorial options (paw prints, ink prints, fur clippings, upgraded urns, and more) with empathy and care
• Make outbound calls to families whose pets were submitted through veterinary partners to confirm services and walk them through available upgrades
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly keepsake sales goals
• Upsell premium offerings such as our Eternal Memories Package or personalized keepsakes

Client Intake & Frontline Support

• Greet families and reunite them with their beloved pets' remains in a warm, respectful way
• Handle emotional conversations with professionalism and poise
• Provide education about the aqua-mation process and what to expect

Administrative & Operational

• Schedule appointments, pickups, and drop-offs using our internal systems
• Accurately process payments, track keepsake selections, and manage order forms
• Maintain daily logs and ensure timely follow-up on all open tasks

Facility Culture

• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and calming front-of-house environment
• Contribute to a culture of empathy, excellence, and sales ownership

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in sales or customer service (retail, call center, medical, or veterinary background a plus)
• Strong phone presence with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Emotionally intelligent — able to shift between heartfelt moments and sales goals seamlessly
• Comfortable with computers and CRM systems
• Able to work Saturdays and Sundays as part of a rotating schedule
• Confidence, kindness, and a hunger to grow
