QUALITY INSPECTOR-TX

Key Responsibilities: (Includes the following, but not limited to)

• Experience with dimensional inspection and documenting results
• Experience with inspecting welds for cold welds, porosity, and fusion of weld
• Ensure tolerances are held by performing visual and dimensional inspection of finished product.
• Ensure conformity and compliance with blueprints
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and checklists for all inspections or tests
• Perform receiving inspections on incoming product

Work experience requirements:

• Work experience in mechanical, welding and assembling manufacturing in shop-floor environment. Experience in welding inspection and procedures.

Requirements:

• Customer focused attitude
• Analytical and detailed oriented.
• Experience with using Quality Inspection Tools (Calipers, Mics, Gages, etc...)
• Print Reading
• Good people and communication skills
• Familiar with different types of metal and non-destructive examination.

Education Requirements:

• High-School or equivalent
• Technical School

Position Type/Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Typically shift hours can be from 6am to 2:30pm, hours can be modified at any given time as best fits work demand. Overtime can be expected and required based on the needs of Production.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a warehouse production environment. The employee is exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors. This position is in a NON climate control warehouse.
