Material Support

Our client, manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Material Support specialist to join their team. As a Material Support team member, you will be part of the production department supporting extrusion and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Support

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $20+/hour

Shift: Temporary and Temp-to-hire, Monday-Wednesday, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM Thursday, 6:30 PM- 12:30 AM.

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate equipment safely to maximize output and meet quality standards
• Accurately fulfill customer orders by reviewing manufacturing specifications
• Perform inspections of aluminum extrusion orders before entering the aging oven
• Ensure all quality practices are followed throughout the production process
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and use inspection equipment properly
• Effective communication skills and a motivated, team-oriented attitude
