Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN

Location: Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, WV

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery RN to join our team! This position is a night shift role with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, call dependent on census, and every other weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional nursing care to labor and delivery patients and their families.


• Administer medications and monitor patient health changes throughout labor and delivery.


• Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform necessary assessments, including fetal heart rate monitoring.


• Conduct prenatal and postpartum education for parents.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.


• Current RN licensure in West Virginia or compact state.


• American Heart Association (AHA) certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN.


• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.


• Must be comfortable with a patient ratio of 1:3.


• Flu vaccine required during the flu season (October to March).


• Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Important Information:

• Travelers must clock in and out to receive payment.


• Must attach required licenses, certifications, and current flu vaccination during submission.


• All documentation must be submitted by noon Monday prior to the start date.


• A full orientation will be provided, averaging 36 hours.
