Accounting Manager - NetSuite required! Responsibilities:

Company Description- Manage day-to-day AP and AR functions including invoicing, vendor management, and collections.
- Process month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure proper cost coding and financial tracking of construction projects.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate financial performance tracking.
- Support audits and provide required documentation to external auditors.
- Consolidate financials and prepare supplemental reporting packages.
- Reconcile and monitor intercompany, and accrual accounts.
- Manage account reconciliation by ensuring accurate loading of monthly trial balances.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors and work with stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of auditors’ data requests.
- Conduct variance analysis/commentary on financial statements and financial presentations.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies.
- Other assignments/responsibilities, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the inventory, retail, procurement process.
- Proficiency in accounting software NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
