Reports To: Inventory Manager / Director of Operations
Job Summary:
Northeastern Fine Jewelry is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Associate to join our Schenectady team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting product flow, and ensuring the integrity and presentation of our high-end jewelry collection. You’ll be working with The Edge, our inventory management system, in a fast-paced and team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and log incoming shipments of fine jewelry and luxury accessories.
- Maintain accurate records of Special Orders and Repairs that are out to a Vendor.
- Verify, log, and securely package outgoing shipments, using UPS, USPS, and FedEx.
- Accurately tag and label merchandise with pricing and SKU numbers.
- Maintain accurate pricing on all merchandise and implement price changes when necessary.
- Perform cycle counts and routine inventory audits using The Edge system.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damage, or loss to management.
- Assist the Sales Team with any inventory-related questions.
- Follow loss prevention, security, and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain good communication between yourself and our Vendors to keep track of Estimates, Repairs, Orders, and more.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory, stockroom, or retail; jewelry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of inventory systems, shipping systems, and Office365; experience with The Edge and/or UPS is a strong plus.
- Trustworthy, discreet, and comfortable handling high-value merchandise.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
