Responsibilities
- Quoting new business
- Ability to analyze insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations
- Service existing accounts and review renewals
- Process policy changes, binders of insurance, vehicle ID cards, etc.
- Account Rounding
- Cross Selling
- Report claims on behalf of insureds
- Speak with clients regarding payments
- Keeping client files up to date
Requirements
- Currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Independent Agency setting
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills (including oral, written and verbal).
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude with excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up by being goal oriented
- Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
- Knowledge of Vertafore PL Rater and Applied Epic Systems is a PLUS, but not required.
