The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full-time board certified or board eligible OBGYN Hospitalist to support the NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. The position will hold a rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Under the direction of the Site Chief and Director of Labor and Delivery, the Hospitalist will:

Base Salary Range: $ 275,000 – 320,000

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a medical degree, successfully completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program and be board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. The candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License and possess a commitment to excellence and teaching.

Our maternity services focus on providing the utmost comfort and care for parents and newborns. Our highly skilled physicians provide the latest in obstetrical care and work closely with the hospital's anesthesiologists to provide expectant mothers with the most appropriate pain management options. NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital delivers approximately 2,000 newborns per year.

- Provide in-house obstetrical physician coverage and provide clinical oversight for the patients on the labor floor.
- Cover and supervise the care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
- Cover and supervise gynecologic consults, including those requiring surgical management.
- Serve as the Attending for Physician Assistants.
- Participate in continuing medical education and department quality initiatives.
