Construction Shop Manager

Industrial Access is seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction materials warehouse. Only candidates currently residing in or near Cumming, GA will be considered.

The candidate will manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of construction materials, ensuring accuracy, timely deliveries, and safety compliance. The Construction Shop Manager will play a critical role in supporting our construction projects by ensuring that materials are available as needed and efficiently managed.

The right candidate will have a broad knowledge of basic construction, power tools, carpentry, small motor repair and mechanical aptitude, while demonstrating the ability to be organized, efficient, self-motivated and proactive. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate stock levels and order materials based on project schedules and demand.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain Inspections on specified equipment at specified intervals.

• Delivery of materials and equipment to and from job sites locally and out of town
• General building maintenance and upkeep
• Some shipping and receiving

Required skills and experience:

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Experience with a variety of power tools, general facilities maintenance
• Intermediate carpentry/construction skills
• Proficiency in mechanical repairs and inspection
• Able to stand, walk, lift for extended periods of time
• MUST have a valid Driver's License and clean MVR
• Be able to pass a background check
• Pass pre-employment and random drug screening

The position requires working on site at our location in Cumming, GA, Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm. Occasional overtime/eves/weekends will be required.
