You will be responsible for pulling daily delivery orders, loading delivery trucks, and performing manual material handling of parts. Additionally, you will operate an industrial lift truck and pallet jack to assist with the handling of parts./ppstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Honor Commitments:/strong/pulliEnsuring timely and accurate delivery of parts, meeting delivery deadlines./liliComplete paperwork with a bill of lading and assemble mail./liliTransport parts from the vehicle to the requested customer location in the building when delivering parts to customers./li/ulpstrongCreate Positive Experiences:/strong/pulliProviding exceptional customer service during deliveries./liliWork with the Parts Counter person to handle credits and returns./li/ulpstrongFoster Lifelong Learning:/strong/pulliStaying updated on delivery routes and best practices for efficient delivery./li/ulpstrongExhibit Pioneering Spirit:/strong/pulliBeing proactive in addressing delivery challenges and finding innovative solutions./li/ulpstrongDemonstrate Good Stewardship:/strong/pulliSafeguarding company assets, including vehicles and parts, and following all safety protocols./liliPull daily delivery orders from inventory at the branch and load the delivery truck./liliPerform manual material handling of parts for delivery to/from branches and customer sites./liliOperate industrial lift truck and pallet jack./liliPerform all pre-trip truck inspections and fuel vehicles./liliDrive delivery van or parts vehicle throughout an 8-hour shift, making up to 25 stops./liliUse a pallet jack to move parts to the requested location in the customer's building./liliPerform all other duties as assigned./li/ulpstrongOther Duties as Assigned:/strong/pulliAdapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives./li/ulpThe above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position./ppAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
