The Seasonal Sales Associate will participate in the day-to-day operations of the store during peak sales days, with a primary focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities. The ideal candidate must prioritize customer satisfaction and be available to work during peak seasonal sales days./pp/ppbuESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /u/b/pulliProvide best-in-class customer service by promptly greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, recommending additional items as appropriate, applying all selling behaviors during every transaction, and expressing gratitude to every guest for choosing GameStop./liliFully support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and actively contribute to all store sales initiatives throughout the holiday season./liliCollaborate with the store team to ensure that all areas of the store, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines./liliAssist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, as well as transferring products from the stock room to the front of the store, ensuring that all products are well-presented, organized, and alphabetized on the selling floor./liliAssist the store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals./liliAddress guest questions and concerns promptly, effectively, and courteously, and escalate customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner to a store keyholder./liliSupport effective inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and adherence to safety best practices./liliConsistently adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities./li/ulp/ppbuQUALIFICATIONS*/u/b/pulliMust be at least 18 years of age./liliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred./liliPrevious retail sales or guest service experience preferred./li/ulp/ppbuKEY JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES/u/b/pulliAvailability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays./liliAbility to follow instructions presented in written, oral, and diagram form./liliPossess an outgoing and friendly personality with strong guest service skills./liliProvide genuine and friendly assistance to every guest during every visit./liliDemonstrate clear verbal communication and listening skills using spoken and written English; bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills are preferred./liliAchieve objectives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment./liliWork both independently and within a team to perform all tasks as assigned./liliMeet associate performance expectations, including attendance, professional dress, and grooming requirements.
