pstrongJob Summary:/strong/p pIthaca College Dining Services is looking for Retail Supervisor for the Library Cafe. These individuals are leaders in the units who deliver outstanding customer service, help customers navigate Grubhub, and support the unit in setup, supply and product maintenance, cleanup and closedown./p pstrongSupervision:nbsp;/strong/p pThis position reports to the Assistant Manager for Satellite Retail.nbsp;nbsp;/p pstrongJob Responsibilities:nbsp;/strong/p ol liLead operations and student staff in day-to-day operations.nbsp;/li liProvide outstanding customer service to students, staff, faculty, and guests.   nbsp;/li liGreet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.   nbsp;/li liFulfill customer orders via Grubhub: receive orders; complete orders accurately to customer specification and with high service rate; package orders; identify ready orders for customers and ensure their receipt of order.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/li liPrepare food and beverage orders with swiftness and accuracy.nbsp;nbsp;/li liModel accurate, safe, efficient, and pleasant performance expectations for student and temporary staff.  nbsp;/li liMaintain knowledge of all menu offerings, including ingredients, preparations, and allergens.   nbsp;/li liComply with HACCP regulations and procedures.   nbsp;/li liSet up serving stations with all required menu items, service utensils, food and beverage containers, utensils, condiments, and items for cleaning and sanitizing.    nbsp;/li liMaintain clean and sanitized workstations, cleaning as necessary and when required by standard operating procedures.   nbsp;/li liAssist guests with special requests.  nbsp;/li liCommunicate often, clearly, and professionally with co-workers and management.  nbsp;/li liPerform inventory, stocking, and requisitions as needed.  nbsp;/li liLearn and adhere to all food preparation guidelines established by the culinary leadership team for Ithaca College Dining Services.  nbsp;/li liDevelop and demonstrate a multicultural awareness and cultivate an inclusive, diverse, and respectful Ithaca College community. Demonstrate civil and inclusive behavior when interacting with staff, faculty, students, and visitors to the College. Promote a flexible, collaborative, and inclusive work and living environment and engage in educational opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion.  nbsp;/li liOther duties as assigned.nbsp;nbsp;/li /ol pstrongRequired Qualifications:  nbsp;/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent and six months previous experience working in a food service operation or other relevant setting.  nbsp;/li liExcellent customer service aptitude.  nbsp;/li liStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service while working effectively and respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment.  nbsp;/li liAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, overtime, and some holidays.  nbsp;/li liThe position is considered to be essential during emergency situations and the incumbent is subject to being requested to report to work./li /ul pstrong Preferred Qualifications:  nbsp;/strong/p ul liAdditional education and barista/cashier experience preferred.  nbsp;/li liServSafe Certification.  nbsp;/li liWorking knowledge of food preparation procedures and equipment, proper sanitation, and HACCP procedures. nbsp;/li /ul pThis position is 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year./p pstrongApplication Instructions:/strong/p pInterested applicants must apply online and attach a resume, cover letter, and list of three professional references.
