SNOWMAKING SYSTEMS OPERATOR - Full-time

pDescription/ppstrongOverview of Position:/strong This is a full-time year-round position. The Snowmaking Systems Operator performs a critical role in the snowmaking operation. This individual operates, monitors, and controls the snowmaking systems. Snowmaking systems include but are not limited to: local and remote high pressure pumping stations, local high volume compressor system, and multiple computer platforms for automated snowmaking systems. Outside of the operational season this role performs mechanical and electrical industrial maintenance.nbsp;/ppbr//ppstrongJob Qualifications:/strong/pulliMust be 18 years or older./liliMust be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted, walk indoor and outdoor surfaces including snow, bend regularly, climb ladders, and sustain adverse weather conditions for the duration of shifts (8+ hours per day)/liliMust have mechanical and electrical aptitude and understanding./liliIntermediate computer and Microsoft Office knowledge./liliMust be responsible, dependable and logical. This individual will be working with expensive and sensitive equipment./liliMust have excellent interpersonal and communication skills./liliMust have a strong level of commitment to assigned tasks and work ethics./li/ulpnbsp;/ppbr//ppstrongJob Duties:/strong The list below represents some of the tasks you will be asked to perform at some time during your employment here at Windham Mountain Club./ppbr//pulliPerform daily maintenance checks and operational procedures for compressors, motors, and pumps; pressure checks, oil checks and changes, heat checks, valve checks, and system performance data./liliPerform snowmaking systems operations; start up, shut down, operation monitoring and adjustment./liliOperate automated snowmaking guns and systems./liliCommunicate with the snowmakers all relevant information./liliPerform motor, pump, and compressor testing, repairs and maintenance./liliAssist with new systems installation, snowmaking guns and systems maintenance./liliMaintain metrics logs and CMMS repair entries./liliFollow all company procedures, policies and safety requirements./li/ulpbr//ppstrongLevel 1 Snowmaking Systems Operator Requirements amp; Responsibilities:/strong/pulliHas Completed all systems operator trainee requirements./liliCommunicates clearly with snowmaking teams./liliFollows all safety procedures and protocols./liliActively participates in Level 1 Systems operator training in the following:/liliActs independently during common system malfunctions./liliPlans with shift supervisors on resource management during shift./liliPerforms operational maintenance as required./liliUnderstands drive faults./liliUnderstands pump performance and testing./liliPerforms basic mechanical system maintenance as required./liliBasic familiarity of relevant equipment technical manuals./liliHas completed 1 season of operations./li/ulpnbsp;/ppstrongLevel 2 Snowmaking Systems Operator Requirements amp; Responsibilities:/strong/pulliHas completed all level 1 requirements./liliPerforms independently during all system operations and malfunctions./liliHas read and has a solid understanding of equipment technical manuals./liliAble to read relevant schematics./liliAble to perform system electrical trouble shooting a needed./liliPerforms all non-subcontracted maintenance and repairs independently./liliWorks with subcontractors during maintenance and repair calls./liliMaintains and submits system operational, maintenance, and repair documentation./liliHas completed a minimum of 2 seasons of operations./li/ulpnbsp;/ppstrongLevel 3 Snowmaking Systems Operator Requirements amp; Responsibilities:/strong/pulliHas completed all Level 1 amp; 2 requirements./liliDevelops and improves operational and training processes./liliTrains level 1 and 2 system operators./liliAble to implement new equipment maintenance and repair documentation.nbsp;/liliInterfaces, schedules with subcontractors and sr. management on all systems capitol repairs and system improvements./liliHas completed 3 or more seasons of operations./li/ulpnbsp;/ppstrongWork Schedule and Conditions:/strong We are in the business of providing premier guest experiences. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holidays, which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods or in the event of mechanical emergencies./p
