This role oversees event setup, service execution, and breakdown, ensuring seamless operations and high levels of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities:
ul style="margin-top: 0in;"li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Supervise banquet service staff during events to ensure flawless execution of service standards./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Coordinate event setup according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including room layout, décor, table settings, and audiovisual requirements./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Ensure all food and beverage is served according to established timelines and luxury presentation standards./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Act as primary point of contact for clients during events, ensuring needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Conduct pre-event briefings with staff, reviewing assignments, service standards, and special client requirements./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-job training to ensure consistency in service delivery./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Collaborate with Culinary and Conference Services to ensure clear communication and seamless execution./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Assist in managing banquet inventory, ensuring supplies and equipment are well-maintained and available./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Oversee event breakdown, ensuring banquet spaces are reset or cleaned to resort standards./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Enforce safety, sanitation, and liquor laws at all times./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Provide feedback to management regarding staff performance, client feedback, and operational improvements./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Other duties as assigned/li/ul
Qualifications:
ul style="margin-top: 0in;"li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"2–3 years of banquet or catering service experience; supervisory experience strongly preferred./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct teams effectively./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Knowledge of banquet service techniques, event setup standards, and food beverage operations./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server Permit required (or ability to obtain upon hire)./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on event needs./lili style="margin-bottom: 0in;"Must be 21 years at the time of hire. /li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"#blackdesertresort/p
