Dental/Medical Biller

Seeking a Dental/Medical Insurance Coordinator to join our team in Upland, CA!

Our reputable Oral & Maxillo-Facial and Cosmetic Dental office in Upland, CA is searching for an in-house Insurance Billing Executive with competence in Medical billing. Although we do a lot of dental billing, our real need is for someone with Medical Billing expertise. This person would need to have high competence with an administrative assistant skill-set for cross-functional and cross-training in our front office (currently staffed with the receptionist, secretary, and office manager). We hope to find someone with leadership and growth ability.

Our ideal Insurance Billing Executive/Insurance Coordinator has an understanding of dental AND medical insurance and payments.

***Applicants must be available to work on-location at our office in Upland, CA.***

Schedule:

M, T, Th – 7:30 am to 5 pm
W, F – 7:30 am to 3 pm

Compensation:

• Pay range commensurate with skill set and experience: $23-27/hr to start. After a 90 day training and assimilation, we review performance and compensation accordingly.
• Based on practice performance/profitability there are bonuses after each trimester (Jan-April, May-Aug, Sept-Dec).

Duties include:

• Preparing and submitting claims for payment by health insurance.
  Informing patients of any co-payments or gaps in coverage by their health insurance
• Communicating with health insurance providers to ascertain patients' benefits, as required
• Follow up on why claims have been rejected and implement corrective measures
• Updating patients' personal and health insurance details, as needed
