Montessori lead guides and assistants

Montessori Certified Teachers & Assistants | Multiple Locations


We are excited to grow our team and are now hiring Montessori Certified Teachers (Lead Guides) and Classroom Assistants for our Toddler (18 months 3 years) and Primary (3 6 years) classrooms. Positions are available at our Pacific Beach, Encinitas, and Linda Vista locations.

Lead Montessori Guide Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Montessori philosophy and methodology
  
  
• Create and submit weekly lesson plans
  
  
• Maintain student records and ongoing classroom assessments
  
  
• Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment
  
  

Requirements:

• Montessori Credential (AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited program)
  
  
• 12 ECE units/Childcare credits required (or in progress)
  
  
• Previous preschool or early childhood experience
  
  
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
  
  
• CPR/First Aid certification
  
  
• Reliable, friendly, and team-oriented
  
  
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
  
  

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

• Support the lead guide in daily classroom activities
  
  
• Assist in maintaining a peaceful and orderly environment
  
  
• Help with transitions, snack prep, and care routines
  
  
• Engage with children in a respectful, developmentally appropriate way
  
  

Preferred Qualifications for Assistants:

• Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children
  
  
• Willingness to learn Montessori methods
  
  
• Enthusiastic, dependable, and patient
  
  
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus
  
  
• Interest in becoming Montessori certified a plus
