We are seeking adedicated and experienced Per Diem General Surgeon to provide coverage at asmall, rural hospital in Los Banos, CA. Position Details:
- Setting: Small rural hospital - low volume, no trauma
- Coverage Type: Per diem, 24-hour shifts
- Shifts Available: 4-10 shifts per month (benefits available with 6+ shifts/month)
- Compensation: $1,750 per 24-hour shift (stipend-based)
Practice Details:
- Average Consults: 1-2 per day
- OR Volume: 3-6 cases per week
- Case Mix: Elective procedures and ER coverage
- Trauma: None
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Active California medical license
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certification
