Electrical Service Technician

Electrical Service Technician - $25-$30/HR

This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Pay: $25–$30/HR DOE
Location: Tampa, FL 33619

Electrical Service Technician Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing all levels of electrical circuits
• 3 phase motor
• Generators and switchboards
• Motor starters and start/stops
• Steering Systems
• Alarms/Automation
• Xenox fixtures
• Grounding systems
• Must know how to use multi-meter/ amp meter/ megger
• Terminate most common types of electrical equipment
• Read all types of prints
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to pumps
• Assist in managing projects as assigned
• On-call for a (7) seven-day period
• Travel occasionally for the company to work at other locations
• Follow all safety and operational policies are followed
• Any other duties as needed
• Overtime is required

• Previous experience in electrical service industry
• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances
• Ability to work in all adverse weather conditions
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and gangways up to twenty-five feet in height
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time
• Ability to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
• Must have good background and able to pass screenings
• Must have some hand tools, a solid previous work experience
• Must have a HS Diploma/ GED
• TWIC required
• Driver's license required
• Must have a clean driving record
