Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Gilroy, CA is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position requires dedication to delivering effective behavioral interventions and assessments to support student development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and data collection
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state regulations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification
  • Experience working with K-12 students in educational or clinical settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently while maintaining quality of care
  • Familiarity with school-based behavioral programs and policies

Position Details:

  • Full time: 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload comprises K-12 students
