Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with at least 3 years of experience to join a thriving medical office in New Paltz, NY. This is a full-time, direct hire role ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and ready to grow within a supportive healthcare environment.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nurses with direct patient care in a clinical setting
• Perform routine medical tasks including taking vitals, auditory/visual testing, EKGs, and venipuncture
• Measure and document patient data (height, weight, head circumference)
• Support medical procedures such as biopsies, sigmoidoscopies, and colposcopies
• Collect and prepare lab specimens and maintain accurate medical records
• Keep exam rooms organized, stocked, and clean
• Ensure patients receive respectful, compassionate care at all times
• Adhere to compliance standards, infection control procedures, and regulatory requirements

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED – REQUIRED
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in EKGs, vitals, venipuncture, and basic diagnostic testing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Infection Control Certificate required
• Phlebotomy or EKG Certification – preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) – preferred

Pay & Perks:

• $21.00/hour starting pay
