($5,000.00 Sign on Bonus paid in 3 installments, prorated for PartTime)

Current MaineHealth employees not eligible for the sign on bonus. Must be separated from MaineHealth system for 6months to be eligible.

Summary

The Baker role oversees bakeshop operations, preparing and baking cakes, pies, cookies, pastries, and other dessert and food products for patients, customers, staff, and visitors. Caters special events and assists in other areas of the department.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Associate's Degree in baking/culinary arts from a Vocational Technical school or equivalent experience in institutional, hospital or large volume restaurant required.
2. License/Certifications: Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe).
3. Experience: See Education
