An established litigation firm based in the Hudson Valley with over 75 years in practice is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate with 2-6 years of experience to join their team. This Attorney will handle a broad mix of litigation matters, with a primary focus on premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and construction law, along with some employment defense work (discrimination). The firm handles both federal and state matters and is known for its strong trial mentoring, making this an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking courtroom experience.
Offer:
Salary range: $100,000-$130,000 depending on experience
Significant annual bonuses (average $25K), based on billables or revenue by timekeeper
No billable hour minimum

Qualifications:
2-6 years of civil litigation experience
Experience in premises liability, motor vehicle, construction, or employment defense preferred
Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
Admission to the New York Bar in good standing
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters in both federal and state court
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents, and conduct depositions
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on trial strategy and case preparation
Advise clients on litigation risk, strategy, and case development
