Associate Attorney - Litigation
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of commercial and civil litigation cases, providing support in all phases of litigation from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing a diverse caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and conducting depositions.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials, representing clients effectively.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys in case strategy development and resolution proceedings.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar License in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in commercial and civil cases.
- Strong understanding of courtroom procedures and experience with trial preparation.
- Excellent legal writing and research skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
