Location: Lewistown, PA
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Shift: 4*10
Monday - Thursday 12:30p-11p
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range for Traveler: $2,850.00- $2,950.00 Weekly
Job Summary:
We are searching for a skilled and dependable MRI technologist to join our medical team. The MRI technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and creating scans as per the physicians' directions, screening patients and explaining procedures to them, and inspecting and troubleshooting equipment. You should be able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and also train junior MRI technologists.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for diagnosis and treatment
· Ensure patient care, comfort, and safety throughout imaging procedures
· Operate Philips MR equipment and conduct MRI scans (including ED, inpatient, and vented patients)
· Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure high-quality imaging results
· Follow established safety protocols and standards
Required Certification & Experience:
· Minimum 2 years of MRI Tech experience.
· Certification: BLS, ARRT (MR) certification required (ARRT (R)(MR) accepted)
