Physical Therapist – Outpatient (Days) | Contract | Alpena, MI

⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks

🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8s (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) or 4x10s (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

✅ Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient contract in Alpena, MI. This role is patient-focused and involves assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with physical therapy standards and physician directives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient function using formal/informal testing for skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
• Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to patient needs and tolerance.
• Submit and update written treatment regimes as part of the patient’s plan of care.
• Coordinate treatment frequency/duration with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and caregivers on conditions, prognosis, and therapeutic interventions.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately to PT Assistants and Aides.

Requirements:

• Active Michigan PT license (must be in hand)
• BLS (AHA) – required
• Outpatient PT experience – required
• Pediatric experience – required
• Acute care experience – highly preferred
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from Alpena, MI
