PROSTAR Staffing has partnered with a well-known custom print company in (Niles, IL).
We are now hiring (Press Feeder Operator) who are team players, versatile, and dependable!
(Press Feeder Operator) Shift & Pay
- Up to $20/hr based on experience
- 3rd Shift (10pm – 6am)
(Press Feeder Operator) Job Summary
- Reviews job tickets & discuss job specifications with Press Operator
- Verifies accuracy of raw material
- Prepares & loads stock, monitors all materials being used on the press (ink, waters, coating, etc.)
- Alerts Press Operator of any quality issues or potential problems
- Re-stocks & prepares materials for next shift and relays complete accurate information to next shift on jobs scheduled and in progress
- Enters complete, accurate, timely information into Hagen system, carefully review Hagen sheets, make necessary corrections & submit
- Follows all specified procedures & complete all required documentation
- Performs & document all scheduled maintenance and ensure press is well maintained on a daily basis
- Required to perform other duties as requested, directed and assigned
(Press Feeder Operator) Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3yrs experience in a sheet fed printing facility
- Required to read, write, & follow verbal instructions and use simple math
- Must possess knowledge of all kinds of stock and what to look for on printed sheet
- Physical ability to frequently lift to 50-70lbs. Ability to throw smooth even loads.
- Must possess skills in troubleshooting & setting up a feed board
- Knowledge of pressroom operations, workflow, equipment, materials, and products
- Must possess good organization skills & attention to detail
