Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Scheduler
Job Type: W2 Contract – 7 months
Location: Forest City, IA
Schedule: 2nd or 3rd Shift, depending on availability
Pay Rate: $20-$28 / hour
Position Overview:

Coordinate production schedules to meet customer needs, including work orders, reporting, and shop floor scheduling; manage urgent requests for assigned product lines. (~45%)
Support inventory control to fulfill orders; may order packaging materials. Process and code job tickets with scheduling data, standards, tolerances, special instructions, and samples. (~30%)
Assign and coordinate daily workloads with crew members; deliver plans and orders to appropriate staff. (~20%)
Perform additional duties as needed. (~5%)

Shift Requirements:

Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on availability.

Experience/Proficiency Level:

1–2 years of related job experience required.
Intermediate level proficiency: employee works on assignments of standardized difficulty.

Job Skills & Competencies:

Strong coordination skills for scheduling, reporting, and supply orders.
Effective communication and short-term planning abilities.
Basic mathematical skills.
