Inwood House is a unique housing community for persons with a disability and seniors. We are looking for a detailed oriented person to complete a deep cleaning of apartments; and ensure the proper and safe condition of the property in the most economical manner through an extensive knowledge of all cleaning equipment and procedures; and assist in all other types of maintenance, when necessary. 

Essential Duties

• Maintain cordial and professional relationships with other staff members, works closely with other maintenance workers,
• Maintain cordial and professional relationships with contract laborers working on grounds,
• Maintain cordial and professional relationships with current and prospective residents,
• Clean all hallways and stairwells,
• Clean all common areas,
• Clean all vacant apartments,
• Clean all parking areas,
• Clean all sidewalks and alleyways,
• Clean on-site management office and model apartment (where applicable),
• Vacuum carpets,
• Wash windows,
• Keep sidewalks clear (i.e., sweep or shovel),
• Blow leaves from parking areas,
• Sweep and mop tile floors,
• Pick up trash,
• Empty and sanitize trash cans,
• Clean appliances,
• Check for lint in washers and dryers,
• Maintain appliances and plumbing,
• Assist in inventory control of all janitorial equipment and supplies;
• Assist with painting as directed,
• Assist with any emergency maintenance,
• Wear uniform during working hours,
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Property Manager.

Salary Range: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
