Gas Station Cashier

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Gas Station Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a positive attitude when serving customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently

• Assist customers with fuel pumps, store items, and general inquiries

• Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed

• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, and fueling area

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and state/federal regulations

• Handle customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner, escalating when necessary

• Operate POS systems and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience a plus

• Basic math and computer skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Work Schedule:

• Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
