Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials including CCC, CFY, or School certification to serve a K-12 school community in Sweeny, TX. This full-time, onsite contract role spans the entire school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy for K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication goals within the educational setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on student needs and best practices
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent communication as required
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with one or more of the following: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School SLP credential
- Experience working with a diverse student population including a range of communication disorders
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment with collaboration and flexibility
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
