Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 educational setting in Washington, Indiana, beginning mid-September 2025 for the current school year. This contract position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, serving students across 2-3 school sites. The role primarily involves supporting a caseload of approximately 65 students (full-time).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines.
- Support students in achieving communication goals essential to their academic success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Proven experience working in a school-based environment preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
