Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform electronic locates to measure utility depths
- Conduct constructability reviews of preliminary design drawings
- Document and photograph existing site conditions
- Perform field notations using various methods
- Represent the company during preconstruction meetings
- Understand rights-of-way, easements, parcels, and private property rights
- Coordinate with project teams to assist in problem resolution
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and business owners, using de-escalation tactics
- when needed
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of prior, relevant field or office work experience.
- Must be local to project work and available during normal business hours.
- In addition to a valid State Driver’s License, applicants must have a safe driving record as defined
- by Company policy.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in utility locating equipment, AutoCAD, GIS platforms, and Google Earth
- Read and interpret engineering plans, maps, and utility drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in remote environments
