Manager - Materials Management - Full-time

ELIGIBLE FOR CMH EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS: PRIORITY RECRUITMENT The Materials Management Manager has the responsibility for procurement of supplies, materials, equipment and services; maintaining inventory control; containing costs of inventory; asset management; forms management; courier services; conducting specialized projects; and supervising the Materials/Purchasing Department. Position reports directly to Director of Finance. The Materials Management Manager maintains a close working relationship with all managers. Job Requirements Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to: Fundamental business principles, purchasing principles, inventory management, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, confidentiality, computer literacy. License/Certification Must provide valid driver's license and auto insurance. Education and/or Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Strongly Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Economics, or a related discipline. Minimum Experience: Three years of managing a supply chain team, of which at least two years has been in health care. Fundamental business principles, purchasing principles, inventory management, communication skills, and computer literacy. Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance Position involves standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 20 pounds). May be required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers; and hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to use a computer keyboard and common office equipment.
