The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting various HR functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment (attend job fairs and networking events) strategies to attract a pool of
candidates; place ads and job openings on various platforms and manage the applicant tracking system
- Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate the interview process; reach out to candidates via phone and
email and follow up with regular communication
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide guidance throughout the
hiring process
Onboarding and Training:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
- Assist in the development and delivery of training, benefits. and compensation programs for employees
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues
- Support employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture
Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and organizational standards
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR databases and files
- Generate reports and metrics to assess recruitment effectiveness and workforce trends

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related area; excellent customer service skills
- Knowledgeable and proficient in various HR operations, functions and HRIS databases and software
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to efficiently multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to operate various office equipment (such as copier, phone, fax, etc.); excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Google Docs and various Apps
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- HR Certificate, Associates Degree in HR Management/Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor Degree preferred)
- High degree of excellence and integrity
