Food & Beverage Cashier/Cafe Agent - Now Hiring

Position Summary

Café Agents at Spy Ninjas HQ are energetic, guest-focused team members responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service in our café. From preparing food and drinks to maintaining cleanliness and promoting specials, Café Agents contribute to a memorable guest experience while ensuring safety and efficiency behind the counter. You are organized, personable, and thrive in a dynamic environment where food, fun, and family come together.

• Must be available to work on weekends (busiest days)
• Food Cashier: $15.00/Hourly Plus Tips
• Preference given to any candidates with their current food handlers card.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Café Operations:

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and guide them through the menu with enthusiasm.
• Accurately take and prepare food and beverage orders following recipes and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized café station, including all prep, service, and storage areas.
• Restock ingredients, utensils, napkins, condiments, and paper goods as needed.
• Process guest payments using POS systems, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Uphold quality, consistency, and presentation in all menu items.
• Promote specials, combos, or new offerings as directed by leadership.
• Communicate clearly with the café, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure timely service.

Cleanliness & Compliance:

• Follow all food handling, sanitation, and hygiene protocols in accordance with local and company regulations.
• Complete opening, mid-day, and closing cleaning duties including equipment sanitization, sweeping, and trash removal.
• Monitor and log temperatures of food-holding equipment and report concerns to management.
• Notify management of guest complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.

Cash Handling & POS:

• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and refunds using the point-of-sale system.
• Ensure receipts, registers, and drawers are balanced and organized.
• Follow proper loss prevention procedures.

Team Operations & Support:

• Restock ingredients, supplies, and utensils during shifts.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding guest needs or café issues.
• Assist with inventory counts and deliveries when needed.
• Participate in opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MUST Have Prior food service or café experience.
• Food Handler Safety Card required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift items up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
• Exposure to warm kitchen environments, cleaning supplies, and food allergens.
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
