Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed School Psychologist K-12 is needed to provide comprehensive psychological services for a middle and high school population. This contract position spans the school year.
Location: Gardner, KSSchool Level: Middle and High SchoolWork Week: 5 daysHours: 35-40 hours per weekCaseload: Approximately 195 students with varied disabilitiesSupport Staff: No paraprofessionals assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students with diverse disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Provide consultation services to educators and families regarding behavior and learning strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist K-12
- Experience working with middle and high school students
- Strong knowledge of disability assessments and interventions
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
