In this role, you will prepare and review federal and state tax returns for a diverse client base, including individuals and small businesses. You will ensure compliance with current tax laws, provide expert guidance on tax planning strategies, and deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses
• Analyze financial documents and ensure accuracy of all information
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies and potential savings opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and IRS regulations
• Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation
• Provide high-quality client service, answering questions and resolving issues
• Stay updated on tax law changes and participate in continuing education

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience
• Valid PTIN and any required state licenses
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., TaxSlayer, Drake, TaxDome)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
