Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with expertise in pediatrics, healthcare, schools, and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates to provide services across multiple K-12 schools in Colorado Springs, CO. The position is full-time or part-time, offering a balanced caseload model in an educational setting that supports both direct and indirect speech therapy services.
Location: Colorado Springs, CODuration: 2025-26 School Year (Contract)Hours: Full-time (2 openings, 37.5 hours/week each, primarily elementary workload) and Part-time in-home service opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and write reports in compliance with IEP requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct intervention and indirect support services to students across multiple schools
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Manage caseload within the district's established caseload model
- Ensure compliance with district policies and maintain timely documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Colorado SLP License and CDE Teaching Certification required
- Valid CCC-SLP credential preferred; CFY candidates welcome to apply
- Experience working with pediatric populations within healthcare or school settings
- Knowledge of evaluation procedures, therapy techniques, and IEP development
- Ability to work efficiently with itinerant caseload and manage travel across multiple locations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
