Travel ER RN contract job- Utica, NY

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is searching for a qualified Travel ERRN to join our team in dynamic Utica, NY! This exciting 13-week contract offers the chance to thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients experiencing emergencies.

The Role:

• Assess and stabilize patients with a variety of medical emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver lifesaving care.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patients' vital signs.
• Educate patients and their families during stressful situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an ER RN.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Epic EMR required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
