About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at PROActive Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant! In this role, you will play a vital part in helping patients recover and improve their physical health, all while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of licensed therapists.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure a clean and safe therapy environment for all patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with patient care and rehabilitation preferred.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
