Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer II to support ongoing operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory. This position plays a vital role in advancing critical mission objectives within a highly regulated and technically demanding environment.
As a trusted partner to government agencies and national laboratories, Omega Technical Services supports some of the nation's most complex and high-impact programs. Through these strategic collaborations, Omega contributes directly to the strength, security, and sustainability of the U.S. Nuclear Security Enterprise.
The SD will support the development of the new F.O.R.G.E. web application. The SSD team adheres to the SCRUM Framework for software development, and the SD must be comfortable working within that framework. The SD must be proficient in the following areas:
- Developing Blazor Web Applications
- Working with Microsoft SQL
- Working with Microsoft IIS Web Hosting Environment
- Entity Framework
- LINQ
- Using SignalR for dynamic updates to web applications
- Single Sign On (SSO) and SAML authentication
- API Development
- Securing APIs
- Unit Testing
- Azure DevOps, Including Pipelines
- Experience working in a SCRUM Development environment.
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of software development experience.
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
- Experience with SAM authentication, Signal R, Microservices, and API development.
- Experience with C# .NET development, Micro CCS SQL server, and Authentication best practices.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q clearance.
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.
- DOE and/or NRC experience supporting engineering/construction projects, and/or experience or training in radiation protection or industrial hygiene.
- Active Q clearance preferred.
