Radiologic Technologist – Night Shift (Full-Time)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: [Insert Facility Name/Campus]
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Radiologic Technologist to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will perform a broad range of routine and advanced imaging procedures, support fellow technologists, and help ensure smooth patient flow and quality imaging services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care, ongoing learning, and collaboration across departments and campuses as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
- Support patient throughput by assisting with additional exams/procedures as needed.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and report malfunctions appropriately.
- Ensure all images are accurately processed and stored in the PACS system; follow PACS downtime procedures when necessary.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all interactions.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working alternate shifts or at other locations if required.
- Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to ensure excellent patient care and service delivery.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, continuing education, and skill development.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
- Valid Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based experience preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems; familiarity with PACS a plus.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position.
- Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Must be able to work at other campuses or cover other shifts as needed.
