We are seeking an Account Manager - Independent/Convenience and On/Off Premise Chainto join our team!
The primary responsibility of the job is achieve sales targets, analyze, price surveys and accomplish Monthly Business Objectives throughout Mid-State Beverages footprint. This position acts as the primary store-level sales person to accounts such as independent, convenience and On/Off premise chain. This position will have several call points that will be serviced weekly. You will be responsible for ordering products, merchandising available in-store inventory on shelves/coolers, and occasionally delivering products in a van. This position is responsible for setting up promotional items such as display pieces, banners and price signs. This position requires frequent interaction with store management and communication with all departments at Mid State Beverage.
This position requires lifting/carrying cases weighing 40-50 pounds and occasionally up to 170 pounds. This position also requires standing, walking, reaching and squatting throughout your work day.
Essential Functions
• Identify customer sales opportunities to sell and execute promotions
• Grow sales, market share, product distribution, space allocation in assigned accounts
• Territory primarily covers Lycoming, Union, Northumberland, Schuylkill, and Centre County
• Utilize point of purchase materials to stimulate sales
• Utilize IPAD to submit product orders through the online portal
• Execute weekly sales plan defined by Mid State Beverage Co.
• Collaborate orders at the wholesale level between operations and administration departments
• Must comply with Mid State Beverage Co sales policies including but not limited to:
◦ Pre-planning objectives
◦ Selling in products and programs
◦ Keep up to date with pricing and POS
◦ Product Rotation
◦ Daily Communication with Director of Sales
Job Requirements
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
Ability to self start and work independently
• 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Must have reliable transportation
• Valid Drivers license and proof of insurance
