General Superintendent - Performance Installation

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Superintendent with deep data center and mission-critical construction experience to lead field operations for large or multi-phase programs (120+ MW). This role requires expertise in commissioning, live facility handovers, and Tier-certified systems, as well as mentoring a team of superintendents to ensure flawless execution from groundbreaking to IT load turnover.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all field operations on mission-critical data center projects, establishing logistics, sequencing plans, and safety programs.
Direct MEP installation, energization, and commissioning readiness on multi-MW builds.
Manage scheduling for long-lead equipment deliveries, factory witness testing, rigging, and installation.
Oversee system start-up, functional testing, and commissioning levels 15; manage IST punch and retest cycles.
Ensure compliance with Uptime Tier, ANSI/TIA-942, and ASHRAE TC 9.9 standards.
Approve MOP/SOP/EOP for all critical activities and live cutovers.
Coordinate with client operations, utilities, and AHJs for inspections and occupancy approvals.
Track manpower, equipment, and material usage to maintain cost efficiency.
Mentor assistant and project superintendents into the next generation of mission-critical leaders.
Qualifications
Required:
~10+ years in construction supervision, with at least 5 years on mission-critical/data center projects .
~ Leadership experience on $50M+ projects or multi-MW programs.
~ Advanced knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning sequences, redundancy topologies , and phased handovers.
~ OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or equivalent advanced safety credentials.
~ Proficiency in P6, MS Project, Procore, and field productivity tracking.

Preferred:
Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier, ANSI/TIA-942, and ASHRAE TC 9.9 .
Experience in live facility construction and phased IT load turnover.
Lean/continuous improvement certifications.
