Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction plumbing and will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina to handle various tasks on construction sites.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repairs.
• Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks to ensure proper connections.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed for specific plumbing applications.
• Carry out heavy lifting and physical labor associated with plumbing installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
• Provide maintenance person services as required for additional repairs or remodeling projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Experience in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing tools and equipment is required.
• Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
• Carpentry skills are beneficial for remodeling tasks associated with plumbing work.
• A valid drivers license may be required depending on job assignments.
