Your success is our success\. **Description** **Job Summary:** To assemble and perform mechanical adjustments and repairs on precision composite aircraft seats\. **Job Responsibilities:** * Performs a variety of diversified bench assembly operations and mechanical adjustments and repairs on precision aircraft seats requiring close tolerance fitting\. o Installs seat control mechanisms, arm and head rests, seat belts, life vests, drawers, etc\. o Installs precisions swivel, recline and slide apparatus\. Makes adjustments as necessary for proper operation\. * Disassembles, reassembles, and assures proper operation after complete paint and upholstery operations\. * Troubleshoots and performs mechanical adjustments and repairs on aircraft seats once they have been installed in the aircraft\. * Requires using power tools such as sanders, rivet guns, air drills, air screwdrivers and hand tools such as wrenches, files, hammers, mallets, and awls\. * Responsible for the quality of own work\. * Performs other related duties as required\. **Qualifications** **Education:** Requires the ability to interpret blueprints, apply shop math, and use some measuring devices\. Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification\. **Experience:** Over one year and up to three years bench assembly and/or mechanical experience\. **Textron Aviation Inc\. must comply with U\.S export control laws and regulations\.
