Locum Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a prominent healthcare facility in Bismarck, ND. This is a unique opportunity to work nights in the NICU, with responsibilities that include conducting air and ground transports. The position starts in July 2025, with ongoing calendar availability. The facility specializes in Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care, providing vital services to high-risk newborns.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care in a Level 3 NICU environment.
• Perform intubation and central line placements.
• Manage peripheral arterial lines and attend high-risk deliveries.
• Conduct ground and air transports as necessary (fixed wing).
• Work night shifts primarily from Friday to Monday, covering the hours of 3 PM to 7 AM.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified (required)
• Current State License (required)
• DEA certification (must have it at the time of submission)
• NRP certification (required)
• Clean malpractice history preferred

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner state license in North Dakota.
• Board certification in Neonatology is mandatory.
• Must possess a current DEA registration.
• NRP certification is required.
