Coverage Needed

• December 22, 8 am - December 29, 8 am
• Nursery call coverage only

Clinical Details

• Call is not in-house
• Emergent care and stabilization of ill newborns of any viable gestational age and routine care of healthy newborns required
• Approximately 600 babies delivered per year
• Level 1 nursery
• No NICU in-house; unstable babies transferred to a higher level of care
• No APP support available during the coverage period
• Typical day includes morning rounds, discharging patients, entering admission and progress notes, and being available for emergencies or questions

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• South Carolina License
• Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
• DEA that can remain permanently registered in the state of South Carolina
