Shipping Clerk - Now Hiring

Salary: $18.00-$20.00

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a seasonal Shipping Clerk for a local Catholic organization to help support their online retail business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately pack and label customer orders for shipment, ensuring products are protected and secure.
• Use Stamps.com to create and print shipping labels for USPS, UPS, and other shipping carriers.
• Organize and track outgoing packages, ensuring they are shipped in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized packing and shipping area.
• Monitor shipping supplies (boxes, tape, labels) and notify management when stock is low.
• Communicate with the team to resolve any shipping or fulfillment issues that arise.
• Identify any potential problems with shipments and proactively find solutions.
• Work efficiently to meet shipping deadlines, especially during peak holiday periods.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a shipping or fulfillment role, ideally within an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Proficiency with Stamps.com and similar shipping platforms.
• Experience with packing and labeling merchandise, ensuring proper protection of items.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when necessary.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well with others and be part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the workspace.
